Health & Safety

It is our company policy that the health and safety of all personnel, either employed directly or indirectly by the company, is given priority over all other matters. We are totally committed to providing and maintaining a safe working environment. This policy also includes the health and safety of any other relevant parties working within or adjacent to areas under our control.

We manage health and safety as follows:

  • Appointed company director has overall responsibility for health and safety

  • Delegation of health and safety duties to qualified and experienced personnel throughout the company.

  • Company policy and procedures in place and copied to all personnel.

  • Implementation of policy and procedures throughout company.

  • Ensure all company personnel are familiar with policy and procedures and are adhering to the same.

  • Regular safety audits and production of reports.

  • Regular reviews of health and safety procedures.

  • Training programme developed and implemented for all personnel.

  • Monthly safety meetings.

  • We accept no compromise to the health and safety of all our company personnel and any associated third parties.

Environmental Policy

The company has an environmental policy statement in place, and will take all measures possible to protect the surrounding environment during our construction operations.

Our contribution is as follows: -

  • Careful planning of all works and careful assessment of the resultant environmental impact.

  • Close consultation with local authorities, and other relevant statutory bodies prior to works commencing including site meetings.

  • Where appropriate, consultation with local residents associations and local community groups.

  • Production of method statements, risk assessments and emergency procedures prior to works commencing. Clear communication of these to all relevant personnel.

  • Use of alternative construction techniques in order to minimise visual impacts.

  • Ensure measures are in place to minimise noise.

  • Ensure measures are in place to avoid risk of polluting of air and watercourses.

  • Promote recycling of waste where possible, all other waste to be disposed of to licensed tips.

  • Ensure physical barriers are put in place to prevent risk to 3rd parties and livestock during our site operations.

  • Maintain tidy place of work at all times.


We also have sound experience in working within and adjacent to Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Areas of National Scenic Beauty and National Parks.

The future of mankind depends on the maintenance of a healthy environment to live in; we have no intentions of putting this at any risk, and will go out of our way to enhance our client's reputation by respecting the environment surrounding our work place.
